Sotterley Country Fair will be held in the grounds of the wonderful Sotterley Estate in rural north-east Suffolk with proceeds going directly to local charities.
A superb day out for all the family “a proper old school country fair” atmosphere with plenty of stalls and things to do for all ages.
Arts and crafts produce, a dog show, fun scurry and agility, in the main ring birds of prey displays, agility, horse logging and hounds. Traditional games, classic cars, vintage tractors and steam engines, live music from lunchtime, childrens activities to include mini beasts, arts and crafts and absolutely not forgetting the range of wonderful food and drinks.
I will be displaying my wares and chainsaw carving throughout the day in the same spot as the past 2 years, come along have a chat and watch the wood chip fly.
if you only go to one event this year make it the Strumpshaw Tree Fair you won’t be disappointed. Set in the grounds of the wonderful Strumpshaw Steam museum among the grass and trees there is an atmosphere of fund and wonderment. Artisans form all over the country attend with their wares on display and many are demonstrating how they create their artwork where you will be welcomed to stop and watch.
Plenty of food for all tastes including vegan and gluten free.
