Greenbuild is East Anglia’s biggest green lifestyle event at the beautiful Felbrigg Hall. The event showcases green technologies such as solar panels and electric bikes, with experts on hand in local and traditional products such as cob building and thatching. This is a fantastic free event run by North Norfolk District Council with plenty of advice covering everything from how to grow-your-own produce to grants for generating renewable energy, and home insulation.
I’ll be exhibiting a range of my chainsaw sculptures and will be live carving on both days. Pop along to say hello and pick up a unique carving for your garden. There’s plenty to see and do with fabulous food, arts, crafts and workshops throughout the weekend.
Gates open 10.30am and close 4,30pm on Saturday, 4pm on Sunday.
if you only go to one event this year make it the Strumpshaw Tree Fair you won’t be disappointed. Set in the grounds of the wonderful Strumpshaw Steam museum among the grass and trees there is an atmosphere of fund and wonderment. Artisans form all over the country attend with their wares on display and many are demonstrating how they create their artwork where you will be welcomed to stop and watch.
Plenty of food for all tastes including vegan and gluten free.
